Hi everyone, I have taken off most of the month of December and gotten some much needed down time. I love what I do, I love to create, I love to share what I create, but I also believe you need some total down time, where you dont think about work at all. That can be really hard to do when you work from your home and when your creativity is not only your business but your enjoyment as well. Sometimes it’s a very blurry line. So to refresh myself I took off December and it felt good to not have to do anything. Now the new year is coming and I am looking forward to getting back to work. I have new ideas flowing around that I cant wait to see come alive. I hope to add new things to the Studio, expand on some easy projects for beginners and have some fun.I have decided not to pick a new years resolution this year. Somehow that always seems to fall to the wayside. Instead I am merely going to set a goal for my work in the Studio and put my energy into bringing you more fun things to make. My goals this year are to get as much out of my head and into patterns and classes for you to enjoy. And if there is something you would like to see, I hope you will share that here on the blog. For my personal goals, I just plan on focusing my life on making each of my days as low stress and peaceful as I possibly can. I seem to have a strong need for peace and calm in my life this year and managing lifes trials can often bring on new stresses that I am working to find better (calmer) ways to handle. I wish you all a safe and happy New Year , I hope the new year brings good things to your life and I look forward to sharing new projects with you in the coming months.
