Welcome to beginner sewing. I believe everyone can learn to sew. Sewing can bring you many hours of enjoyment as well as the ability to make some really nice things. Sewing isn’t just for grandma anymore. I want to teach you whatever I can so I can excite you to want to try something new. (patterns for beginners are listed below)

I am interested in whatever you would like to learn, if you ask I will do my best to help. I want your questions, your thoughts and your ideas about sewing. Many of the projects in the beginner sewing section are appropriate for young people too. I design many of my projects to be beginner/kid friendly. I want to excite you and your children.

My children want to make what I am making so I work to design projects that can be done on both levels. What a great thrill that you can sit down with your child and you can learn to sew together.

This is a mother/daughter business, I work with my oldest daughter 25, often we consult on many ideas. Then we have my youngest daughter 10 and my granddaughter 7 , who are both always anxious to make what I am making.

Together we hope you will enjoy our patterns and projects as much as we enjoy designing them for you.
