I know its been a bit quiet around the studio blog this last week or so, but the last days of summer around here are always busy.

School is just 4 days away! It starts here on the 27th of August. And I am counting the days!!!

We have been busy getting ready, just shopping for school clothes alone can not only kill your wallet these days, and trying to find good clothes that are age appropriate can be a challenge too. Then theres all the accessories and supplies and shoes and it feels more like shop till you drop!

Now this saturday is my birthday and school starts 2 days later! Timely birthday present if you ask me! Now dont get me wrong, I love my kids, but at this point in time, they are bored out of their minds and are also looking forward to the first day of school.

And I am looking forward to some solid studio time so I can get some of these things in my head out into patterns and classes for you to enjoy!  My list, my sketch book is getting filled up with ideas and I can hardly wait to work them out and share them with you!
