Well the local fair is in town this week. I have been told that the yearly fair held at the York Fairgrounds is the oldest fair in America!

It was a good day for the fair. We went right after school was out and the just before dinner hour seemed to be just perfect, it wasnt that crowded, no long lines for the rides, so the kids had lots of fun.

And what would a day at the fair be without supporting the local artist talents!

As we were rounding the last bend of the fair for the day the tent with the caricature guys was just up ahead and one of them spotted hubby, with his overgrown beard (only cause he was not in the mood to trim it) and the guy begged to do one of him! He says Tommy would make a great one to do.

So in the spirit of fun and art we obliged. It took less than 10 minutes to do both of us and it was fun to watch! I wish I could draw like that on the spot and in 4 minutes or less per person!

And as you can see we now have this wonderful work of art, fun and it pretty much represents us pretty well!
