I love pincushions and I believe that is one thing you can never have enough of. Try the first pattern in my pincushion series free! This Pattern/tutorial will show you how to make this adorable pincushion.

Double Scoop Ice Cream Cone Pincushion

You can make it any flavor you want, get creative but most of all have fun!

This might be a little difficult for kids to do alone, this project should be done together, they can do some of the blanket stitching on the top layer of ice cream while you work on making the base. Maybe with help they can also do some of the whip stitching. You will have to judge their level of ability.

You can also pick up some of the multi colored pin heads and make it look like rainbow sprinkles when you add the pins.

If you would like a free copy of this pattern, make a comment to this post and share with me what you think or sign up for one of our mail lists and you will be sent a link to the FREE Ice Cream Cone Pincushion pdf pattern.
