New Storage for my tons of supplies

October 19th, 2007 · No Comments

You know finding just the right kind of storage for all your sewing needs can be a bit challenging.

You think something is going to work and then after a while you find out it’s not doing what you need it to well anymore. Well that was happening to me, I was becoming over run by my own stuff in my studio and needed to do something.

So off hunting I went. I came across this storage item in Target.

Got home and put all my threads into one and love it so much I had to go back and get another for all the rest of my need to be accessible goodies.

These draws come with lids so if you are so inclined you can put stuff in them and have them stay closed. I personally don’t like that, I like to just reach and grab. Whats great about these draws is that the lids come off. Just bend them all the way back and they pop off. And they are the perfect size for all my little things and threads.

As you can see my threads all sit in here just right. Now I have everything right here next to my sewing table, where its needed.

If you would like to check them out they were in Target in the aisle where you find sewing things and storage containers. It was called a craft cabinet and they were $30 each.

Good storage ideas are worth sharing. Got any your can share, I am always looking for better ways to store my stuff! And I have lots of Stuff! Just ask Hubby!
