I have been thinking about doing a painted pony bag, where the pony is painted in a wash of color. So I sat down last night and started playing with the idea. Its still very much a work in progress and I am not sure how it will turn out but I have learned to just do it till you are done because sometimes along the way it all comes together and surprises you.
So here is my rough draft I guess you could call it my painted pony bag on the drawing board.
I have been looking at it since yesterday and I am still not sure, so I guess the only thing to do now is sew it up and think along the way and see what happens.

I will post an update this weekend. I have some bag orders to finish up and I will take a pic of the quilting I have completed so far.

Lets just say the pony need some more work, if I am going to put it out there its going to be spectacular. The pony isnt there yet.!
