I will be teaching you how to make my Cat Sack Handbag thru Joggles this coming fall and so I am getting ready to do that. I spent the day preparing lesson one. There are so many things to think about, what I want to tell you, making sure I dont miss a step, taking lots of pictures, cause if you are like me, pictures work way better than words. Being a visual person I find when I can see it done or a picture of it, I get it, so I want to have lots of pictures. I want you to be able to make a bag just like mine. I have so much I want to tell you, like this picture shows you the type of small black and white prints I use on some of my cats. So you know just what I am using and can find something similar.Making sure I talk about fabric choices, what works and what doesnt and how to pick the right group of fabrics to work with when making your cat. I want you to have a bag you are proud to carry around. And I want you to have fun making it.Then there is the cutting up of all the pieces, lots more pictures to make sure you can see step by step just what to do.Where to place everything, lining it all up to match.Tomorrow I work on lesson 2, that would be getting ready and stitching down all the pieces. How we are going to use the stitch to not only adhere the pieces to the body section but also use it to add color and texture to the bag. Its going to be such a fun class and you are going to have a fantastic bag when you are done.So many things to do, and I still want to whip up some lizzard wallets in different colors, I am just itchin to do that but I have lessons to plan that will have to wait a couple of days.I hope to see you in class this fall and if you are interested in knowing when the class will start so you can sign up, email me and I will put you on the notification list.
