I believe everyone can learn to sew and I want to show you how to make some great projects. (patterns and tutorial links below)
Sewing can bring you many hours of enjoyment as well as the ability to make some really nice things. Sewing isn’t just for grandma anymore. Catch the sewing Bug!

Many of the projects in the beginner sewing section are appropriate for young people too. I design many of my projects to be beginner/kid friendly because I also want to excite children about sewing too!
My children always want to make whatever I am making, so I work to design projects that can be done on both levels. What a great thrill that you can sit down with your child/grandchild and you can work on projects together.
Studio-259 is a mother/daughter business, I work with my oldest daughter 25, we design and consult on many ideas. Then we have my youngest daughter 10 and my granddaughter 7 , who are both always anxious to make what I am making. They test my kid projects and come up with ideas. It is so great we can do this together.
We hope you will enjoy our patterns and projects as much as we enjoy designing them for you.

This is great! I think that helping others to learn this great creative tool is one of the best things we can do! I can’t tell you how many people I meet who think sewing must be fantastically hard…keep up the good work.

you know I too run into so many people who thing sewing is so hard. If I can inspire anyone to start to sew, to try something new, to not be afraid and just have some fun ,oh the thing they will have fun with and how happy they will be!
