You know when it comes to organizing a studio, finding just the right storage that works for you and the space and budget you have can be a challenge. The first photo you can see my new tall silver rack to the left of the white drawers, I love this little rack it holds so much stuff and had hooks for hanging things.

I have tried several solutions to getting stuff stored just the right way and all of them just werent working right. And if the studio space isnt working right then it can be frustrating to your creative flow.

So yesterday I went out to Lowes and bought these great shelving systems

and they fit in the same space where I had several other kinds of furniture but work so much better.

Everything I could need is now accessible. All my fabrics are at hand and much more organized and all my other creative supplies are also available and not shoved away somewhere where I have to dig them out. It’s amazing how you can use the same space and change the storage system and fit so much more stuff in.

And there is not plenty of room at the worktable end of the room. Before it was cluttered with small shelves that held various things.

The space now works great, seems to have more light and much more get around room. It was a worthwhile investment. These racks are in lowes for about 75.00 a piece, nice metal shelving that holds 350 lbs per shelf and gets put together with no tools. That is great in my book, easy up and well fabric weighs alot, it holds all that stuff nicely and I have lots of STUFF!
